Seeking live in partner

I'm 36, M, Potsdam, NY seeking a partner with a woman of similar age to help make living expenses a little bit more bearable and life a little bit more interesting. I'm clean, don't do drugs, don't smoke and rarely drink. I have a car, a dog, 3 cats (cats are open to rehoming if necessary). I'm currently renting a studio apartment which I'm not fond of and would like to move out of in time. I would love to be in a relationship with someone and help with splitting the costs of rent and utilities. I don't believe in being controlling and I strongly value independence and intelligence. I am more than capable of doing all the necessary housework in my own way and time.
